Christmas 2010 & Happy Birthday Reese

Image
We had a wonderful Christmas this year! We got to spend time with both our families and had such a great day! Reese was alot of fun this year. She would open one present and then just wanted to sit and play with it and wanted nothing to do with the rest of her un -opened presents. So it took a while to get through all her gifts! Here are our sweet little ones in their new Christmas PJ's! We were all good and spoiled this year. We got Reese some fun new toys (including a basketball hoop...I couldn't resist) then when we went to Jesse's parents house she got a cute little shopping cart that she loves to cruise around the house with all her toys in. Then later that day my parents came down and brought her a rocking horse that makes the noises of a horse and she can get that thing really going. One night she had it going so good she flew right over the front of the horse....it was pretty funny! Roxie had a pretty good Christmas as well, she got some new cute outfits, PJ'

Happy Birthday Reese!

Happy Birthday to our little Reese! Reese One Day Old She is two years old today and Jesse and I can't believe it. She is such a big girl now! She a sweetheart and is a great big sister. She loves to help out with Roxie and always wants to help do things around the house. Reese is talking really well now and we can understand most everything she is saying. She loves to play rough with her Dad and will get on the floor and say 'I gonna get ya' that is Jesse's cue to get down and play. She is a big ball of energy all the time and loves to dance, skip and chase our little dog Dakota around the house. Reese's favorite song right now is Reba McIntire's new song 'Hear me on the Radio' every time we get in the truck she yells 'Radio....Radio' and will sing the whole song at the top of her lungs. She is picking up and learning so many things it is just amazing to see how quickly she gets things. My favorite right now is she will walk around the house lo

What a great month it has been here at our house. We are all adjusting well and are loving having little Roxie home. She is a great baby and Reese just adores her. She is a great helper with the baby...sometimes a little to much help. Roxie is about 7 lbs now and is finally starting to fit into all the newborn cloths I have. She will be one month old on Monday....I can't believe how fast time flies. She is such a sweetheart and I just love to cuddle with her! We are just so grateful for her and love her so much. Reese is doing great and has adjusted very well to everything that changed in the past month or so. We recently bought a new home and moved, which we thought would be kinda hard for her but she adjusted really well. Then two weeks later I had little Roxie and she has done so well with her. So she had a couple pretty big changes and has done great! She is so good with the baby and just wants to kiss her and give her hugs (more like lay on her) all the time. Roxie is so luck

More Roxie

Roxie is doing great and we are just excited to have her home with us. We brought her home on Wednesday and things have been going good. It was so nice to get home with both my girls. I missed Reese like crazy while I was in the hospital. I looked forward to all her little visits while I was there. She is a good big sister and just adores Roxie. All three nights home Roxie has slept from about midnight to 6-7 in the morning which has helped me catch up on some much needed rest. She is a good little baby and has been pretty easy so far. It is a change to have such a calm and quiet little thing around when you are use to a 22 month old cruising around. It is nice to just cuddle up with little Roxie and take a nap or just enjoy how quiet and peaceful she is. We are just so happy with our two little girls and feel so blessed to have them in our lives.

Roxie arrived Monday morning at 7:39 am. She weighted in at 6 lbs 3 oz and is 19 1/2 inches long. She is a healthy little girl and is doing great. She looks a little like her big sister but defiantly has her own look. She is beautiful and we are so excited she is here! I am feeling pretty good and am thankful that everything went as well as it did. This go around was so much easier than what I went through with Reese. Having the scheduled C-section was so nice! Reese was so excited to see here little Sister and all she wants to do is hold her. She kept pointing at Roxie saying "little sista ' it was so stinking cute. It will be interesting to see how she does with her at home and I know we are going to have to watch her like a hawk. She will defiantly want to be my little helper.

Welcome Home Chase

Tuesday was the big day!! Chase flew into the Pocatello Airport at 6:00pm and we were all patiently waiting his arrival! We are so excited to have him home FINALLY!! It was great to give him a big hug. Here is his grand entrance! It was so great to see him walk through those doors with his grin! I am excited for my parents to have their baby home! It was extremely hard to have a brother gone for that long...I can only imagine what it is like to have a child gone for two years. They were so excited and both took the day off yesterday and just bummed around with him. This was Chase's first time meeting Reese! She was pretty shy and a little offish but she will warm up to him. She at least gave him a big hug and kiss when we left my parents house that night. Chase was really excited to see her and is excited to meet his other niece Bella this weekend when Bre and Linc come up. It will also be fun to see Logan, London and Liam with Chase. Liam was only 5 Months when he left so he will

Time Flies When Your Having Fun....

It has been quite a while since I have posted anything and well alot has happened in the past three months. We have been extremely busy and have had some fun things go on. First off Jesse's little sister Jordanne got married in the middle of September! It was a great weekend and was alot of fun to see everyone. We are excited for them and happy Jordan is officially part of the family! Congrats Jordanne and Jordan!! Reese is now 22 Months old and is as fun as ever. She is talking up a storm and is getting so big. I can't believe she is almost two years old. She already is a big help with things around the house and is actually pretty good about cleaning up after herself if you ask her. She is in LOVE with Babies and every time she sees a kid about her age or smaller she will yell 'Baby'. So our next little one will defiantly be loved by her big Sister! On October 20th my sister BreAna had her first little girl. Bella Lauren Palmer is finally here and she is a doll! Reese

Yankee Fork

Image
This weekend we were camping with Jesse's family at the Yankee Fork. We went up Thursday and had a good weekend of riding, fishing and chasing around kids. We had alot of little kids there this year and they all had a good time together. We had some rain Thursday and Friday which made it fun keeping them all out of water puddles. Reese loved going on rides with Jesse and I. We took her a few rides and she did really well. She loved watching her Dad fly by us on his dirt bike. She would just yell "Daddy Daddy" and get so excited. Ward Family Here is the whole crew that was there this weekend.

Massacre Rocks

Last weekend we went camping with my parents and Bre and Linc at Massacre Rocks. We had such a great time. It was so nice to get together for the weekend. We couldn't have asked for better weather. It was a nice relaxing weekend and hopefully we can do it again this summer. I love this picture Lincoln took of our Motorhome! Saturday we spent the day over at the beach playing in the water. Reese had so much fun running around and splashing in the water. We got some good wakeboarding and skiing in and even got Logan up on the knee board. It was such a fun weekend but we were missing one thing.....Chase!! We are so excited for him to be home this November! He was transferred about a month ago to Palo Alto, CA and is now a Zone Leader! We are so excited for him and are so proud of him. He is loving being a Zone Leader and loves his new area. Only 3 More Months! Hope Lincoln doesn't mind I am using some of his pictures he took. They look so good!

Welcome Home Andrew!

Jesse's little brother Andrew came home today from his Mission. It was a pretty exciting day! We are very happy he is home and that he finally was able to meet Reese!! She did just what I thought she would do and just tease him all night. It was fun to watch her get more and more comfortable with him throughout night and when we were getting ready to leave she gave him a big kiss. Andrew and Reese's first Hug!! So Sweet! Here is Jesse with his parents and all his siblings . It is good to have Andrew home and it was fun to listen to some of his stories from his mission. I am excited for him and Reese to spend more time together and get to know each other better. Welcome Home Andrew!!

Out on the Boat

Image
We went out on the boat on Monday for a bit. It was the first time this year and was a trial run to see how Reese would do. She is a little bit harder than last year. She does great when we are just sitting and she can cruse around and climb on the seats. She doesn't like when we are moving because we make her sit on one of our laps. She can't stand to have to just sit there. So it will take a few trips I think to get her more use to how it works out there on the boat. We let her dangle her feet off the back and all she wanted to do was get in. So we put her swimming suit on and Jesse would let her get in and she didn't quiet know what to think of the cold water. So he would take her out and then she would want right back in. Then all she wanted to do was play and splash her feet in the river. We spotted this Bald Eagle and got a few cool shots of him.
