You think she looks like her Mom??

Image
I was taking some photos of Reese this afternoon and well I finally got the face I wanted on the camera. She always makes this face and it is just like one that I use to pull. So I took the photo of me at 9 months making the same face. I must say...She looks like her Mom! Reese - 4 months and 2 weeks old Brooke - about 9 months old This is just one that I thought was so cute!

Check out those two front bottom teeth! You have to look pretty close, but they are there! They have just barely broke through

Tonight after we got home from my basketball game Reese was all sorts of full of it! She didn't want to eat and all she wanted to do was play with the dogs. She was watching every move they made. So I sat her on the ground and she was able to sit there all by herself! These are photos Jesse took of her. Such a big Girl she is! She is just a little over 4 months old! Oh she loves her little Dakota! I couldn't believe she is strong enough to sit there all by herself. We are so lucky to have such a beautiful and healthy little Girl! When I took her to her 4 month check up last week she weighed 15 lbs 5 oz and is 24 1/2 inches long. She is growing so much! Reese is such a happy and fun baby. Jesse and I are so spoiled. We have it so good. I don't think we could have asked for an easier baby. Everyone tells us that we need to enjoy it because our next one will not be that easy....You never know! ;)

Another First

Tuesday we started Reese on solid foods. We made a little bowl of rice cereal and well we tried to feed her some when she was more than ready for a bottle. Not the smartest thing to try to do. This is how our first experience went. She was very mad that we were not giving her a bottle. So we gave her some of her bottle to get her pacified. Once we gave her about 2 ounces we tried it again. Success! She took the cereal great after that! She was a little messy...obviously, but she did great and picked up on it quick! Here is the after shot. Isn't she so stinkin cute! Reese is now a little over 4 months old and is picking up new tricks everyday. Saturday in the tub she was showing off her hand eye coordination . She has a little blue hippo that floats in her tub and well she grabbed it with her feet and lifted it up just enough to grab it with one of her hands. Jesse couldn't believe it. Mothers Day was Great! It was a very busy day, but was fun. Hope everyone had a wonde
