Roxie's Sweet Shoppe Party!

Image
Roxie turned ONE on the 15 th of November! We had a party for her the day after Chase and Taylor's Wedding reception so all the family that were in town for that could stay and celebrate with us. We had so much family there and are so grateful for everyone that came! It was a fun party! The theme of the party was "Roxie's Sweet Shoppe" I saw the idea on a blog and decide to give it a shot. Jesse and BreAna helped me a ton that morning and I think we pulled it off! I was so happy with the way everything looked and tasted!! Roxie enjoyed playing in her cake. She was not all that excited to eat it but she had a couple little bites. It was much more fun to smash it in her hands. My favorite part of the party was watching Roxie open each and every gift! She would get so excited and Oooooo and Awwwww over every thing! Then she would say "Thank You" It was the best! In this picture below you can see the expression she got everytime she opened something new.

Our Trip to Arizona

Image
Jesse has to go to Arizona a couple times a year for work. So this time we thought we would all go and have a little family vacation. My friend Hollee and her family moved down there last year so we were able to stay with them and spend some time with them. We stopped in Vegas to break up the drive. We stayed at Treasure Island and got to show the girls a little bit of the strip. Reese really liked walking around and seeing all the different things. We made it to Arizona after we had walked around Vegas for a bit. It was so good to see Hollee and her family! Her and Chase have two little boys the same ages as Reese and Roxie! It was so funny to watch Reese and Alex play and see the major differences between Boys and Girls! They had a blast with each other and were fast friends. We were all able to go to a Pumpkin Patch on Sunday. The kids got to ride some Pony's, rides and watch some pigs race. We had a good time but I must say it was SO HOT!! Wow! Monday we weren't really

....and summer is gone!

Image
Well now Summer is pretty much over and not quite sure how that happened. I really love and enjoy the summer time and am always disappointed when it is over. Granted it does mean that ski season is around the corner, but I will miss working in my yard, wearing shorts, and going for mountain bike rides in the evening. I am not ready for Fall and wish we really could go straight from Summer to Winter! We had a very busy summer and had a lot of fun! We went to a few Car Shows. Chase had his car in a few throughout the summer, and we hit about 3 or so to see him. Going to car shows is something that my family usually did a lot of in the summer, and is fun for Jesse and I to take the girls to now. One thing this summer that we did that was different, and fun was camp for a weekend in Lava Hot Springs with my family. I had never been to the swimming pool in Lava so it was fun to go and swim with Reese and BreAna's boys. We ate at the Thai Restaurant there in Lava also for the first

Summer is Here.....

Image
We are so happy that Summer finally decided to show up here in Idaho! So nice to have the girls out and about! We have worked really hard to get the yard, sprinkler, rock and landscaping in......and we have pretty much got it all done so now we can just sit back and enjoy!! It is so nice! Reese love to go to the "Parking Lot" which is really the park (not quite sure why she calls it that...but I think it is kinda funny) Roxie loves to cruise around in her stroller and Jesse and I are just happy to get outside!! The girls are just getting so big and are so much fun!! Roxie is now 7 1/2 months old and is a mover and a shaker! She is crawling now and gets to just about anywhere she wants to go. She has also started pulling herself up on to the couches and will use the wall to stand up. She is a tough little thing! I think we will have another early walker on our hands! She has just the funniest facial expressions and smiles! Right now when you look at her and smile she will get

Roxie - 6 months old

Roxie is now 6 months old. How can that be....everything seems to just be flying by! Roxie is such a sweet little girl and brings so much joy to our lives. She is a active little thing and loves to be on the ground rolling around seeing what she can find. She is close to crawling which I'm excited for because she loves to be on the go and gets frustrated now when she can't get to where she wants to be. She now has one little tooth that came in about a week ago. Roxie is still a pretty good sleeper. She will normally sleep all night til about 6 or 7 in the morning. I think we will probably try to move her out of our room and into the crib in her room this week. I think she is ready....I just don't know if I am. BreAna and Linc were up this weekend and he took all these photos of Roxie and he took some of her and Bella. They are about a month apart and were so cute this weekend. We would sit them by each other and they would play and jabber back and forth. It was pretty fun

Finally....Sunshine!!

Image
Wow....Finally some sunshine and warmer temperatures! It has been so nice! We have had a good last couple weeks. Easter was alot of fun this year. We took Reese to the Easter Egg Hunt the company I work for puts together. She loved getting her Easter eggs and finding her little suprise inside. We also had one for her in our back yard Sunday which was fun and alot less hectic. Here are just a few pictures from the crazy Easter egg hunt on Saturday. Life is crazy and busy as ever. Reese and Roxie keep us on our feet and running all the time. Reese is so fun to listen to and hear the new little things she says. Last week she wanted Jesse to get on the floor to play. He told her he would in minute...but of course that was not good enough so she put her head down, put her hands up to her face and says "Daddy...pretty please....you are making me sad". Well needless to say that is all it took and now when she wants something from him that is what she says. She sure catches on quick.

What a Winter!!!

Hope everyone had a great Winter and hopefully we will start to see some signs of Spring. We have had a fun and busy winter and a little sad that it is coming to an end. Jesse and I have enjoyed a great ski season and are looking forward to a fun summer with the girls. Reese and Roxie are doing great and are so much fun. It has been a little while since my last post so I will do a short little update on each of us. Here is Reese getting ready to bed in her big girl bed! We bought Reese a bed a few months ago and she does pretty good in it! She is just growing up so fast I can't believe it. We are still working on the potty training...unfortunately she has kinda lost interest in it. Sooooo we will keep at it and try to keep encouraging her. She is a smart little girl and knows her shapes, colors and knows some numbers...just doesn't always get them in the right order... haha it is pretty cute. The other day she was counting her bath toys and said '4, 5, 6, 40, 1' So we
