Our Trip to Arizona
Jesse has to go to Arizona a couple times a year for work. So this time we thought we would all go and have a little family vacation. My friend Hollee and her family moved down there last year so we were able to stay with them and spend some time with them.
We stopped in Vegas to break up the drive. We stayed at Treasure Island and got to show the girls a little bit of the strip. Reese really liked walking around and seeing all the different things.

We made it to Arizona after we had walked around Vegas for a bit. It was so good to see Hollee and her family! Her and Chase have two little boys the same ages as Reese and Roxie! It was so funny to watch Reese and Alex play and see the major differences between Boys and Girls! They had a blast with each other and were fast friends.
We were all able to go to a Pumpkin Patch on Sunday. The kids got to ride some Pony's, rides and watch some pigs race. We had a good time but I must say it was SO HOT!! Wow!
Monday we weren't really the ideal guests....Jesse went to his meetings and was back to Hollee's by Noon and had to go to the doctor. He had a really bad sinus infection. Also Reese was a bit dehydrated so we all just hung around Hollee and Chase's all day and tried to get everyone feeling better! Luckily Tuesday everyone was feeling better!
Tuesday we went and did a little bit of shopping and then we took the kids to the Phoenix Zoo. It was such a great time! I was really impressed with that Zoo! It was great! Reese and Roxie loved every minute of it.
Tuesday night we meet back up with our Hubby's and went to dinner and got some Bahama Bucks. We had the best time hanging out with Hollee, Chase and their boys! They were such great hosts and really opened their home up to us! We are grateful for such great people to call friends!
Wednesday Jesse had to finish up a few meetings and then we had to say goodbye and be on our way home. We left about Noon and didn't roll into Pocatello til about 3 in the morning. It was a LONG day but we made it and Jesse and I were able to make it to work on Thursday. Very tired but we were there! The girls were absolute trooper! I know the DVD player helps but they were really pretty good both ways!
Just a little update on the girls! Reese will be three in December and is such a great little kid. She has quite the vocabulary and makes us laugh on a daily basis with the new things she has to say. A couple of her funniest lately are....
"Lighten Up Guys"
"I am so Serious"
When someone is not where she thinks they should be she will say "What are you guys doing here" it is sometimes a little embarrassing when she is always asking strangers that.
She has started in a Preschool/Daycare. She loves it and we love to hear all the things she has learned that day. We are so glad she likes it! We love our little Reese and watching her grow!
Roxie is almost one if you can believe that! She turns 1 on Nov 15th! We are trying to keep up with all the new things she is up to. She as mastered her walking stills and is quick. She has the cutest wave I have ever seen! She is starting to say a couple words now, she will say "Hi" "Daddy" and "Thank You". She is getting so big I don't know what to do! It seems so weird and feels like I just had her. She has the best personality and has the best facial expressions! We love her and think she is so special!
