What a great month it has been here at our house. We are all adjusting well and are loving having little Roxie home. She is a great baby and Reese just adores her. She is a great helper with the baby...sometimes a little to much help.
Roxie is about 7 lbs now and is finally starting to fit into all the newborn cloths I have. She will be one month old on Monday....I can't believe how fast time flies. She is such a sweetheart and I just love to cuddle with her! We are just so grateful for her and love her so much.
Reese is doing great and has adjusted very well to everything that changed in the past month or so. We recently bought a new home and moved, which we thought would be kinda hard for her but she adjusted really well. Then two weeks later I had little Roxie and she has done so well with her. So she had a couple pretty big changes and has done great! She is so good with the baby and just wants to kiss her and give her hugs (more like lay on her) all the time. Roxie is so lucky to have a big sister that loves her so much! They are going to be such good friends!
Jesse has had fun taking Reese out playing in the snow this winter. He made her a little slide for her in the snow and she loved it! We tried pulling her behind my Dad's fourwheeler on a sled and she didn't quite like it like we thought she would.....maybe next year. She is in love with snowmen right now so Jesse will have to make her one when we get another big snow storm. She is so funny we will get in the truck to go somewhere she will yell "Mom, Mom, Mom......Snnooowww" and then when we drive by a house with Christmas lights up she will yell "Mom, Mom, Mom........Pretty" She is talking really well and is easier to understand day by day.
Jesse and I are really enjoying this early snow fall we have had here lately. Pebble Creek is already open and we were able to go up skiing today! It was a great day and we had some great snow! We could not believe how good it was for December. So nice to be able to get a few extra weeks a skiing in this year! Should be a great ski season! We are going to take Reese up towards the end of the season to start her skiing. We are pretty excited!
We are really enjoying our little girls and are so blessed to have them!
