Reese's First Christmas

Image
Reese's first Christmas was great. She had alot of fun opening her presents and playing with all of her new toys. We started the day off pretty early so we could make sure we were out at Jesse's parents house in time to call Andrew. It was nice to talk to Andrew and he sounded really good. We then opened presents and ate breakfast. Then we were off to our next stop. We needed to be at my parents house by 11:00am so we could talk to Chase when he called. So while we waited we opened presents and Reese played in her new Red Mustang she got from Grandpa and Grandma Peterson! She looks pretty stinkin cute in it. She can't quiet reach the petals yet but she like to push the buttons for the radio and horn for now. We waited and waited for Chase to call and finally at 2:00 ish he FINALLY called. It was so nice to talk to him and he sounded so good. We are so excited to be able to have him home for Christmas next year! After we talked to Chase and hung out for a bit we hea...

Weekend in Sun Valley

Image
A couple weeks ago Jesse and I went to Sun Valley to Ski. We went down the night before and stayed at the Sun Valley Lodge. It was so nice to get away, have a nice dinner at Ricos and sit in the Hot Pool. Reese stayed home with Grandma and Grandpa Peterson. They loved having her! This was the little pond out front of Sun Valley Lodge. Jesse and I had a Great day skiing. In the morning we had some sunshine and then in the afternoon we had fresh show! Can't beat that! It was nice to ride the new Gondola that they just put in. Makes that first ride up in the morning not so bad. In the picture above to the left you can see the cut in the trees where the Gondola goes up. We skied alot of vertical and were beat by the time we left. Here is our little cutie pie Reese. We can't wait for her to be able to come skiing with us! That is the one thing that was missing from our weekend. It will be so fun to teach her how to ski and watch her progress! Watch out it won't be long! Ha Ha

Update and Some Beautiful Pictures of Reese

Image
These are some very beautiful pictures of Reese that Lincoln took for us a couple weeks ago. Thanks Linc!! Well it has been a while since I have given a real update of what has been going on with us. I feel like I just report on what Reese is doing all the time (to me that is what is important), but I will give a quick run down about how we have been doing. Jesse started a new career last March. He is working for Edward Jones as a Financial Advisor and is loving it! For the first couple months after he started with them he studied for two extremely hard tests. One being the Series 7 which he studied for, for about 2 full months. He has been working extremely hard and is really doing great (as far as Edward Jones standards). I am still working at Gate City Real Estate in the office. I only work part time so it is a nice break to get out of the house but I get to spend most of my days with Reese. While I am at work Jesse's Grandma, Mom and Sister have been so great to watch her fo...

Growing up fast!

Image
Thursday Reese found a new trick that she LOVES to show off. She will stand up all by her little self and start clapping. She gets the biggest smile and makes sure that everyone is looking and clapping with her. She gets so excited about it that when she falls she will hustle to get back up and start clapping again. But like I said everyone has to be watching and clapping. It is pretty dang funny. She is very proud of herself! She even took three little steps today! We are so blessed to have such a fun, happy, healthy little girl! She keeps us hopping but we are loving every minute of it! She has the most sweet little laugh and gives the best kisses ever! She likes to craw into the hallway....sits and watch for Jesse or I to get up to go get her and then she....takes off as fast as she can go so we will chase her. She thinks it is pretty funny. Well we just are so lucky to have such a sweet heart little girl! Saturday I had to go help with Gate City Real Estate's Pumpkin Patch and ...

9 Months and Star of the Show!

Image
Reese is now 9 months old and is picking up new and hilarious things every day. She is crawling everywhere and stands up on everything. We really have to keep an eye on this one. She is a very busy little girl. Yesterday I flipped her hair out with my straightener . I think it turned out pretty cute! She has become quite the copy cat. If you sneeze, cough, laugh or if I blow my nose she will mimic the sound you make. It is so funny!! The best is when people laugh she will laugh with you. Not just a little laugh she is really loud. She loves to give kisses. You have to say 'kisses hmmmm ' and she will open her mouth and stick out her tongue and give you a big wet kiss. She gives the best kisses. She loves to scream at the dogs. When they get excited and bark she will yell back at them. She must be picking that up from Jesse and I. Ha Ha She is getting better at not pulling Dakota's hair and she will just pat her back now. We keep telling her to be soft. She definently know...

Camping up the Yankee Fork

Image
Here is Reese on our way for her first camping trip! Here she is right after I took the first picture. She woke right up with a cute little smile!! So stinkin cute!! Love Love Love that hat. We found it in Sun Valley! We left Thursday for the yearly camping trip with the Bailey's. We camped up the Yankee Fork which it by Stanley, Idaho. It is beautiful country and we had a great time. We spent the days fishing and riding. We found some great trails and had alot of fun riding around. Jesse found a couple really good fishing holes up and down the creek right by our camp site. He would load Reese up in the backpack and take her fishing with him. He loved it and so did she. Sleepy little girl! Doesn't get much cuter than that! The last day we were there we were walking up the creek and two pretty big fish came and swam right by Ace and Jesse. I snapped a few shots and this was the best one I had. They were kinda fun to see so close. She really loved cruzin in the backpack with ...

Riding up Elk Meadows

Image
On Saturday we went for a ride up Elk Meadows. It was a nice cool day and we had a great ride. We ran into this Baby Moose. Kinda cool. This photo we took for Chase. Last year Jesse and him came up here riding and when they were up here it was raining. Well this little bog was nice and wet. Chase thought it was a great idea to get out into the middle up of and roost it. He did and as soon as he let out his clutch on his bike he popped he chain. So Jesse and Chase had to drive the truck back there and load it up. So I thought it would be funny to take this photo and send to Chase.
