Our Girls
I finally got some pictures of Roxie smiling tonight! I was so happy. She is getting so big I can't believe it. She is 8 Weeks old now and is doing so good. She is a healthy little girl and is already sleeping through the night! It is great. We put her to bed when we go to bed and she will now sleep til about 7 or 8 in the morning constantly. I am so grateful for my good sleeping girls. Reese also started sleeping through the night at about 2 months also! We are so lucky!
Roxie loves to have you talk to her and she tries so hard to talk back to you. Then once she gets frustrated because she can't talk to you she will start wiggling and just smile at you. She is getting better in the evening and is not so fussy. We are having so much fun with her and we are so grateful she is a healthy, happy little girl.
Reese had to get her picture taken with the baby before she went to bed. She is doing so good and we are so proud of her. We officially took her binki away from her last week. We were only letting her have for naps and bed time but I decide we were done with it! So it "Broke" last week and she has done really really well. Much better than I thought she would do. She only asked for it the first two nights at bed time and hasn't asked for it since. She will see the babies binki and say 'Binki Broke' so she gets that it broke and that made it so much easier. We also bought her a 'big girl bed' and we set it up for her last weekend. We ended up buying a queen size so if people need to stay the night they have somewhere to sleep. So she looks pretty little in that big bed but is really doing great in it. We can read her a story and lay with for a minute and then she will go to sleep. Nap time is a whole other story....she still has to take naps in the crib because we just haven't figured out how to get her to stay in bed. So we will keep working on it and hopefully she will start taking her naps in there as well. She is just getting so big and we are so proud of her! We are even making some progress on the potty training. She will actually tell us sometimes if she needs to use the potty. So we will just keep encouraging it but really are trying not to push her. I know she will do it when she is ready.
