Sun Valley 2012

Image
Jesse and I spent 4 days in Sun Valley at the first of the month with his family! We headed up Thursday morning and skied all day Thursday, Friday, Saturday and came home Sunday . We left the girls with my parents. It will be nice when we can take them but for now it is just fun to ski with Jesse and have a weekend away! All three days were fabulous! Blue s kies and fast skiing in the morning! By the afternoons the bump runs had softened a bit and we alot of fun! Jesse and I ate at the Sawtooth Club two of the nights and had our favorite Bruschetta ! It is something we always look forward to. We enjoy Sun Valley so much and are so glad we were able to spend some time there skiing and hopefully before the end of the season we can get back over there! It was fun to ski a little bit with Jesse family and spend time with all of them at dinners. It is a trip that we look forward to each year!

Baby Girl #3

Jesse and I are expecting our 3rd Little Girl in June! We found out last Monday (Jan 30) that it is a Girl. Reese is excited and kinda gets what is going on and know she is getting another little sister. This new little Girl and Roxie will be about 20 months apart. I know it sounds crazy and what were Jesse and I thinking but we both knew it was time to have another kid and feel very blessed. We are going to have alot of fun with these 3 and excited to see if she looks more like Reese, Roxie or just a mix of the two. I told Jesse that he gets to choose the name since I kinda picked Roxie's name so we will see what he decides. He has one in mind but it could always change in the next few months! We are just really excited to have our new little one here and feel really blessed!

Reese our Little Skier!

Well 2012 ski season has not been as we would had hoped. We are in the middle of January and Pebble Creek has still not opened the Skyline lift. Jesse and I made a trip over to Sun Valley in the middle of December to get a day of skiing in which was great but really that is all the skiing we have done. However Pebble Creek does have it's Aspen (baby hill) lift open, and we have been able to take Reese up the last two weeks to teach her how to ski! I have to say it has been so much fun! Jesse and I have enjoyed every minute of it!! Reese is a natural and has been doing so great! Her very first run we hooked her up to the harness and Jesse skied in front of her and helped her get use to her skis. She skied down the bottom and she was so excited to get on the chair lift! She skied 4 runs like a champ and then we went in for lunch! Jesse and I couldn't believe that she did so many runs in the morning. We thought we would be 2 runs in the morning then lunch and maybe a couple more...

Reese's 3rd Birthday!

Image
Reese turned 3 at the end of December! I can't believe that she is already 3! We are so proud of her and love her to pieces. For her party we had a Skiing themed party (getting her excited to learn how to ski) Jesse and I had bought her all her skiing equipment for her birthday so it all tied in together. She got the whole set up and looks so cute in all her gear! The big surprise was her brand new PINK skis! It was important that they were pink, she was very specific! All dressed up showing off some of her new ski gear! She got these cute fairy wings that she loved and didn't want to take off! We had a house full again and are so grateful for everyone that came to celebrate her birthday with us! She loved all the gifts she was given and sure is a spoiled little girl! We had chili dogs and for her cake we just made cupcakes with pink skis sticking out of them! It was really fun decorating and making everything for her party! Since we don't have a fireplace I ordered a fire...

Christmas 2011

Here are the Girls fresh out of the bath and ready for Santa to come visit them! Reese wanted a pink kitchen and Roxie wanted some new clothes ;). So they both got what they wanted and more. Reese was so excited for kitchen, all her food and pots and pans. Roxie got alot of new clothes and some new toys as well. Reese admiring her new pink kitchen! Love the hair Roxie! We had a great Christmas with the Girls and loved seeing there cute little faces that morning. We had both our parents stop by and bring the Girls their gifts and got to see alot of our family through out the day. Reese got to make everyone who came over Pizza with her new kitchen and she loved every minute of it! We are so grateful for all that we have and for all of our family. Christmas night Roxie thought she would try to stay in the Motorhome that Jesse's parents gave to Reese. She is a pretty funny little girl!

Roxie's Sweet Shoppe Party!

Image
Roxie turned ONE on the 15 th of November! We had a party for her the day after Chase and Taylor's Wedding reception so all the family that were in town for that could stay and celebrate with us. We had so much family there and are so grateful for everyone that came! It was a fun party! The theme of the party was "Roxie's Sweet Shoppe" I saw the idea on a blog and decide to give it a shot. Jesse and BreAna helped me a ton that morning and I think we pulled it off! I was so happy with the way everything looked and tasted!! Roxie enjoyed playing in her cake. She was not all that excited to eat it but she had a couple little bites. It was much more fun to smash it in her hands. My favorite part of the party was watching Roxie open each and every gift! She would get so excited and Oooooo and Awwwww over every thing! Then she would say "Thank You" It was the best! In this picture below you can see the expression she got everytime she opened something new. ...
